Yonderlust Cafe is OPEN!

Durham locals Sonya and Kit Linton have opened Yonderlust Cafe, the next phase of their multi-use building project in Durham’s Brightleaf Square. The cafe offers a high-end coffee experience with Joe Van Gogh coffee and Strong Arm Bakery products. In addition to great coffee, the cafe offers delicious fresh juices, smoothies, paninis and salad featuring locally-sourced ingredients.

The cafe space at Yonderlust occupies the north bay of the original building and the couple plans an outdoor gear and clothing store for the remainder of the space this spring. Restored by the couple over the last two years, this building has held a number of restaurants since 1930; most recently Another Thyme which many locals will remember, going all the way back to Mayola’s Chili House that served up good eats to the workers of the local tobacco warehouses in the 1950’s.
